I have been working out consistently a minimum of 4 days a week for years. I decided to see how I rated against other men my age and to see if there were areas I needed to improve. I learned a great deal from the evaluation. Primarily that my overall score was being dragged down by my lack of flexibility and a body fat score that did not rate as fit. With a good score in the other categories, I decided to hire Shelley to help me design a program to help me with my trouble spots.
The program that Shelley designed is focused on helping me with doing the exercises in proper form, proper weights and reps. I have set specific goals for myself with a specific time period to accomplish them. I will continue to work with Shelley to monitor progress and advance my goals once my original ones are met.
Like many others, I felt that I knew all there was to know about cardio and weight training exercise because I have been doing it for so long. I was amazed at how little I actually knew when I took the time to work with a professional. I know understand that in order to stay current with your workout program, you must either study fitness yourself or hire someone that does study fitness for a living. I am very glad that I did the latter!
